I was in line at the grocery store, and I handed the guy behind me one of the divider-thingys. He said "thank you, empress." It caught me off guard, but made me smile at the originality of it.
Then, in the parking lot, three 16-17 yr olds came bounding up to me asking if I'd pose for a picture with one of them. Why? "We're from out of town." Um, so am I (which I didnt mention), but sure, why not? They seemed so excited as if I was exactly what they'd been looking for.
Wonderful way to start off my day. Random acts of compliments are fun. :)
Also in the grocery store line, I couldn't help but notice Brad Pitt's new blond look in all the magazines around me. I love it. I've always been a sucker for blonds.
Speaking of, this sounds like it could be hilarious:
Sony Pictures has fallen for Steve Conrad's "Chad Schmidt" pitch. According to Variety, Sony paid $1+ million for Conrad's script and Brad Pitt's attached to star.
Pitt would play wannabe actor Chad Schmidt who journeys to LA in the late '80s to follow his dream of being a star. The problem is, Chad looks just like another young actor who's gaining recognition in the movie industry - Brad Pitt.
Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch will produce "Chad Schmidt." No announcement has been made as to when production will start.
