My philosophy prof lectures from PowerPoint presentations. Today, he noticed he'd made a typo, so he fixed it before moving on. Then he commented that "Spelling errors are like.. spaghetti stains on someone's shirt when you're talking to them. It shouldn't matter - it doesnt really affect what they're saying, but you notice it, and it affects your impression of that person."

Haha, I thought that was brilliant.
