I'm sorry, but 99 cents a song is fucking ridiculous. That's about $10 - $20 for a whole cd which is what they cost anyway, but you don't get the case, booklet etc... So they're making more off of downloaded songs than selling cds. Grr. Maybe when they start selling for like ten cents a song, I might start that whole deal, but until then, fuck them. ITunes recently sold their 100 millionth song. That means they've made nearly $100,000,000. For what? Sustaining a website? I mean, I know part of that money goes to the artist, it damn well should, but like I said before, they don't have the costs of the physical cd to worry about. On the other hand, downloading individual songs gives the artists more incentive to make every song actually worth listening to, reducing "filler" songs.
