On the last day of classes (2 weeks) is Arts County Fair. For those who don't know, it's just an all day event with several bands and lots of drinking. I was planning on not going because it's such a social thing and I am usually uncomfortable in situations where I'm forced to socialize with people I barely know. I didn't go last year, because I couldn't even drink. However, I think I'll go this time, just because it's such a big event, it's the largest student-run event in Canada, and just to say I went. However, I'll be going in order to take pictures of everyone else. This works out well. I've always said that I like being alone in big groups of people, and photography is the perfect vehicle for that.
I can't figure out how to turn off the option that makes tapping the touch pad equal a click. It's very fucking frustrating. I found the mouse options, but that wasn't there.
I finally finished Carpe Jugulum by Terry Pratchett and have decided I'm just not a fan. Not that he's bad, he's just not my style. I find it almost impossible to care about any of the characters and therefore about what happens next, or whether I've even followed the plot. I've now started on Ender's Game, which has been on my radar for about seven years, on my bookshelf for about three, and I'm finally getting around to actually reading it.
